Coach & Earn
Interested in becoming a private soccer coach?
Get started. Qualifications: Become a certified coach or a licensed coach. Look into the coaching classes that may be offered in your state, or check out the U.S.A. Soccer website for more information. References: It is a good idea to have references who can provide details about your ability to instruct and details about your character. If you lack experience, who may want to provide free lessons to get the experience and references at the same time. Location(s): Secure a safe place where you can provide quality instruction. Obviously, the nicer, the better! Having access to goals is a huge bonus. In some cases you may have to reserve the area, especially if you have goals, need access to goals, and or you are coaching a large group. Be prepared to travel to the place suggested by your customer. Equipment: Obtain the necessary materials, like balls, cones, and even goals (some goals are potable and fold up quite small and don't weigh much). Don't forget water, sunscreen, and most importantly cell phone (for emergency calls) and first aid supplies. |
Advertise: Get the word out to the community. Let soccer teams and clubs know that you are providing lessons. Talk to other coaches. Certainly get your profile on privatecoaches.com, so athletes looking for private lessons can find you more easily. Post your profile, and add it to the world map of private coaches.
